Sage Marketing Group in Fort Collins, Colorado is looking for a dedicated, hard-working Marketing Assistant to join our fun, whirlwind environment in Old Town. To be the right person for the job, you must be able to multitask and handle many projects at once. Attention to detail is paramount.  Ideally, you will have +/- 3 years marketing/advertising experience with a strong emphasis in digital.   The position is set up to allow you to grow from an assistant to an account manager as your skill set increases and business demands.

Sage is a boutique marketing agency that provides a multitude of marketing services in-house. As a result, everyone on the team wears a number of different hats.

The hats you might wear include:

  • Assisting with production graphic design: creating production files for business cards, fliers, posters, vinyl, advertisements, mailers and the like.
  • Assisting with “asset” collection by helping the graphic design team source image and video files and libraries.
  • Assisting Digital Account Managers with organic and paid online marketing campaigns (Google Ads, social media, affiliate marketing, etc.) and monitoring those campaigns.
  • Loading web content using templated page set-up: copy, images, photos and videos.
  • Proofing agency work - extra set of eyes.
  • Generating content for select clients or social media platforms.
  • Providing “traffic” assistance for select clients or projects (e.g. client requests an updated business card or new blog loaded on their website).
  • Maintaining project management queue
  • Assisting with event marketing and execution.
  • Assisting with in-depth market research

The ideal person for this job:

  • Has strong writing and communication skills.
  • Has working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Ai, Indd, Ps). Understands how to create press-ready files.
  • Has working knowledge of WordPress or other CMS.
  • Knows the basics of Google Analytics.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team. Self-starter who takes initiative, loves to learn and expand their capabilities, and offers to share their knowledge thrive at SageMG.
  • Has the ability to multitask.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Has a degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, new media, or related field of study and/or preferably 1-3 years of experience in marketing with a proven track record of creating successful digital advertising campaigns.
